Strategic financial advice for all

19-Jun-2009

With the knowledge that many Australians are still in the dark when it comes to their super, Superpartners’ Financial Services Education and Advice Team (FEAT) was established to provide comprehensive strategic general advice.

FEAT aim to educate on topics such as investment, member contributions, pre-retirement and retirement strategies (including Transition to Retirement, lump sum or pension options), as well as tax, insurance, and redundancy advice with respect to benefits available to members of their fund. For members seeking comprehensive financial planning, FEAT exclusively refers members to IFFP (Industry Fund Financial Planning).

Recent Superpartners call centre trends also indicate that members are beginning to seek advice on their own accord. Marianne Walker, National Contact Centre Manager at Superpartners, said: “We’re beginning to notice that the number of calls being referred through to our FEAT team is steadily rising and also the amount of time we’re spending on the phone with customers is increasing. We believe members are becoming increasingly more willing to engage with their superannuation provider now than in the past.”

We have strength in numbers, servicing over 6.4 million member accounts.

I coordinate the test and build environments to assist in the successful release of IT system changes for Superpartners. One of my favourite foods is the crumbed fish from a little place called Sea Salt on Lygon St or my Mum’s homemade meat pie.
