The day was a great success, with around 50 people at the historically significant Williamstown foreshore site, Point Gellibrand. The Friends of Gellibrand joined in and demonstrated the best way to plant for the area. For this particular site, the team planted mostly native grasses to help stop erosion, given that it’s a coastal area. The team planted along a walking track, in an area that is being developed as a walking tour spot over the past two years by the Friends of Gellibrand Group.
In Sydney, a group of Superpartners employees, friends and families helped plant native trees to support the Pyrmont Ultimo Landcare Group on Sunday 1 August.
