Ian Atherton

Expert Operations Manager and Dedicated CFA volunteer

I manage a team of approx 50 administration staff who are responsible for the daily operations of the fund including new member and employer processing, contribution receipting and processing, payments of benefits to members and Roll-Ins to and Roll-Outs from the fund. I also have a dedicated Client Service Advisory team spread around Australia who assists HESTA employers to meet their obligations to the fund.

When I find time to leave work and the CFA behind I tend to hitch up the caravan and head north with the family to a small town on the NSW side of the Murray River. It is not well known, but it is an oasis on the river, tourists are scarce, the townsfolk are friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
